The Graduation Specialist in the Office of the Registrar plays a critical role in supporting students’ journey to degree completion by managing all aspects of the graduation and degree conferral process. This position is responsible for evaluating academic records to ensure students meet university requirements for graduation, providing guidance on graduation policies, and assisting students, faculty, and staff with graduation-related inquiries. The Specialist collaborates with academic advisers and departments to identify and address any deficiencies in students' records, ensuring students are on track to graduate.
Key duties include conducting graduation audits, verifying completion of degree requirements, maintaining accurate graduation records, and coordinating the processing of diplomas and transcripts. The Specialist also oversees communication with prospective graduates regarding deadlines and post-graduation services, providing exceptional support and clear guidance.
In addition to primary graduation duties, the Graduation Specialist will also provide essential support to the Degree Audit and Curriculum Management Specialist, assisting with the setup, testing, and maintenance of degree audit tools and curriculum management processes as needed. This collaboration helps to ensure accurate tracking of students’ academic progress and that all program requirements are appropriately reflected within the university’s systems.

Experience working with Peoplesoft Campus Solutions student information system.
Analytical Skills in Coding Degree Audits: Ability to interpret degree and program requirements accurately, assess logical sequences, and translate them into coded, automated rules within the degree audit system.
Bachelor's degree; or in lieu of a degree, proven written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking, reasoning skills, adaptability, and learning agility supported within resume and/or cover letter.
