Dual Credit Advisor

This position serves as the primary contact for dual-enrolled students to assist in the development and delivery of services in academic support, academic counseling, and career exploration. Responsible for building and sustaining relationships with Lakeshore district high schools, specifically with students taking Lakeshore dual credit classes to support academic success. Responsible for case management and support of students by building relationships, maintaining contact, and transitioning students into Lakeshore programs or external transfer. Provide assessment and guidance to students through career development activities and work collaboratively with high school partners (school counselors, career liaisons, transition coordinators, etc.), Lakeshore faculty, Academic Counseling, and Academic Success staff to identify and address barriers impeding completion to improve student performance through target interventions. Provide an exceptional customer service experience to both internal and external customers throughout every interaction. Requires travel within the Lakeshore College district.
